Great skin is important. But when you get great skin and healthy body at the same time, you double your benefits, and frankly you not only look great, you also feel great! And isn’t that half the battle? With this in mind, some of the oldest people on earth, which is good and bad I recognize, actually have won this battle. They are over 100 in some cases, and they definitely don’t look that old.
So how do they do it? My great grandma did it. My grandma didn’t fare so well. But basically she did it in common sense ways. She didn’t have moisturizers, sunscreens, wrinkle products, or anything like that. And even later in life, she never used these things even when they were introduced. She had to do it the old fashioned way.
She did a lot of it by eating more fruits and vegetables. It seems so simple, but this is what we do in cream form sometimes. We supplement vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants into our skin when for better health, we should be getting our nutrients from food! With this in mind, her incredibly healthy diet did her well to say the least.
The other major thing she did was even until her last day, she exercised. She would go on walks every day through the small town she lived in, and she would then work in her garden. She was blind by then, and frankly she couldn’t really see her garden to appreciate it. But she figured that other people would be able to appreciate it, and in the end it made a big difference in her health.
